Wollmeise - Red Hot Chili Pepper - $5

Ellie was in such severe pain that she was rushed to The Ohio State University this morning for emergency treatment for her back. She is on morphine every four hours. Tomorrow, she will be undergoing surgery. On top of that, 4 Paws Sake had a litter of five puppies test positive for parvo. Because 4 Paws is a NO KILL organization, they will foot the bill (close to $5,000) to have these puppies treated and restored to full health.

As one of their volunteers, I can unofficially state that this organization is in financial crisis to find the funds to treat all of these puppies and dogs.

So, in the spirit of dog lovers that love fine yarn, I am holding an EMERGENCY RAFFLE much like I did for Vinnie. However, because time is of the essence, this raffle is only for a skein of RED HOT CHILI PEPPER - WOLLMEISE. This will run the same way Vinnie's raffle did.

I BEG you to please consider entering this raffle so that 4 Paws Sake, Inc. is able to continue to save these precious babies and so many more.

THE RAFFLE

1.) DONATE: Go HERE and make a donation using your PayPal account. You MUST use THAT page to make your donation/buy your raffle ticket. For every $5 you donate to 4 Paws Sake, using the 4 Paws Sake DONATION PAGE (paypal), you will receive a ticket into the raffle to win this skein of Wollmeise. For every $20 you donate you will receive ONE EXTRA ticket ($20 = FIVE tickets).

When the PayPal page pops up, enter "FRIENDS OF ELLIE" in the long blank box that says "Item," and enter your donation amount in the "unit price" box.

2.) FORWARD your donation confirmation page from PayPal (the one that will show up in your email) to: saveourwiener@gmail.com This will serve as your ticket entry. This will also be the email addy I use to contact you, should your number be drawn, to get your mailing address and prize preference. Also, forward me your RAVELRY user ID if you have one. Feel free to send me your blog as well!

On Friday, September 19, 2008, I will draw a number using the Random Number Generator to determine the winner. Any donation received after 11:59 PM EST, Sept 18, 2008 will NOT be entered into the raffle.
