Meet Ellie

This is Ellie. Ellie is a 3 year old female Dachshund rescued from a puppy mill. She is currently one of the dogs up for adoption through 4 Paws Sake, Inc. a dog non-profit, rescue organization based out of the Toledo, Ohio area. 4 Paws Sake is an absolute NO KILL organization dedicated to placing dogs in their fur-ever homes.

Poor Ellie is in need of back surgery. She has a slipped or herniated disc in her back which is extremely painful for the poor, poor little girl. She will require $2000 - $6000 back surgery at The Ohio State or Michigan State University and will require 6-8 weeks to re-cooperate.

We (Friends of Ellie) are currently organizing various fundraisers to help 4 Paws Sake with Ellie's upcoming medical bills. While those fundraisers are being planned, we are simply setting up this blog to give updates on Ellie's condition, and ask for small donations on her behalf.
